Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 12:49PM Just found an old drawing of mine.
I must have been 2 or 3?
I had some crazy mothman shit goin' on or somethin'.
Seems like I was a creepy bastard even back then.

Jimmyjane has adorned its award-winning LITTLE SOMETHING vibrators
with intricate etchings of acclaimed artist Jamie Hewlett's characters
to create a limited edition of 1,500 sequentially numbered vibrators

This really trumps the Hello Kitty and Dora Buru vibrators from Japan

We've all lost someone we love. But we do it my way! We do it my way.
Fear is our ally. The gasoline will be ours. Then you shall have your revenge.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
Monday, October 19, 2009 at 10:57AM What do you get if you cross a Hummel figurine with Junko Mizuno
add a touch of Trevor Brown's predatory cynicism
and then make them homeless orphans?
Well, you get a Harma Heikens sculpture.

So much so that I had him create the design for the tattoo on the back of my head.
More work can be seen on his Flickr and Papper och Penna

Come on over and register (if you haven't already), grab a cup of joe and we'll kibitz.
The Zone Groups, a blend of several graphics arts groups, is a community where copyright awareness is a united effort. A union that teaches both artists and hobbyists the importance and relevance of copyright issues.
With a constantly updated list of artists, and their current terms of usage, The Zone Groups is the foremost site for graphics arts hobbyists to come and check on changes in copyright and usage information. The staff at The Zone Groups is very thorough, searching the internet for these changes. Sharing this information with members and non-members alike, The Zone Groups is very conscientious of copyright, and what that means to both artists and hobbyists.

Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 1:03PM Just got my copy of Mark Riddick's Logo's From Hell
I've known about him since we were both in a mag called Drawing Blood back in '94
Since then he's created a helluva name for himself (pun intended) doing illustrations
and logos for pretty much every metal band you can think of.
He really gets my ol' creative juices flowing.

Friday, October 16, 2009 at 10:37AM Carlton Mellick III's newest book is available at Amazon.
This is my favorite cover that I've done for him next to Apeshit.
Always fun, inspiring and mind bending.
Road Warrior Werewolves versus McDonaldland Mutants…post-apocalyptic fiction has never been quite like this.
They call themselves the Warriors, their enemies call them the Bitches. They are a gang of man-eating, motorcycle-riding, war-hungry werewolf women, and they are the rulers of the wasteland.
A century after the fall of civilization, only one city remains standing. It is a self-contained utopian society protected by a three-hundred-foot-high steel wall. The citizens of this city live safe, peaceful lives, completely ignorant to the savagery that takes place beyond the walls. They are content and happy, blindly following the rules of the fascist fast food corporation that acts as their government. But when Daniel Togg, a four-armed bootlegger from the dark side of town, is cast out of the walled city, he soon learns why the state of the outside world has been kept secret. The wasteland is a chaotic battleground filled with giant wolves, mutant men, and an army of furry biker women who are slowly transforming into animals. Trapped on the wrong side of a war zone, Daniel Togg makes new friends and new enemies, while uncovering the mysteries of the people living in the wasteland and how they came to be there.
Including 45 illustrations by the author, Warrior Wolf Women of the Wasteland is an epic bizarro tale of dehumanization, gender separation, consumption, and violent sexual awakenings. A fast-paced post-apocalyptic adventure in the vein of The Road Warrior, featuring a very unique werewolf mythology.
